The last day of May - can you believe it? It has zipped by. Tomorrow is June. Tomorrow is Winter. It really doesn't seem like Christmas was that long ago? My baby is 7.5 months and getting *more* teeth. Wasn't he only just born? Sigh. Sometimes it is hard to keep up.
This little pink-gemmed beauty is next on my 'wish list' for my Pandora bracelet. Bit of pink, bit of bling, that is the plan. I visit the charms occasionally online to pick out my favourites. Sometimes my favourites' list becomes a little long and I need to cull.
Hope your May has been an enjoyable one!

What a Cracker!
The Crackerjack Carnival is on this weekend, Friday evening through to Sunday. We like Saturday morning first thing. While the kids aren't tired. While there isn't lines. While everything is fresh. Kids under 12 are free and us big kids are $7 each.
After an extended stay in the 'entry tent' to view the motorised trains (they *so* rock!), our first stop was the ponies. I remember when I was little and *loving* the pony rides. Back in the day.
After an extended stay in the 'entry tent' to view the motorised trains (they *so* rock!), our first stop was the ponies. I remember when I was little and *loving* the pony rides. Back in the day.
We smiled at the camels, thought it a bit pricey to pat the animals in the little farm and moved up to view the sheep, cute baby goats, alpacas and chickens at the Shearing Display. Caleb was overstimulated and walking in a daze, wanting to try everything and couldn't stop talking - he was busting with excitement!
There were two areas of kiddie-size rides. First up we rode the train . . . toot toot!
Followed by the chairlift swing thing.
Walking up the path of stuffed-animals-and-other-junk-prize games we stopped to catch some ducks. Caleb's duck won him a green car and Zali's won a bubble blowing thing. They were happy.
At the second kiddie-size ride area it was the multi-vehicle-go-round that first attracted attention.
Our little 4WD rev-head chick.
Zali wanted to ride the boats while Caleb picked the Mickey Mouse jumping castle. After I watched Zali a bit, I helped Caleb take off his shoes. Oops, Zali is crying. I dash over (big headed me thinks she has misplaced me - don't worry I am here) to discover she had tried to touch the water the boats were floating on and scratched/grazed her forearm (hurt herself, got a fright, all a bit too much) and was crying out 'Marrrrrrrrmmmmmmy', in between sobs, to come rescue her.
A big cuddle and some reassurance and all was ok. Except the deadhead bloke 'watching' the rides saying 'it's hard for me to watch two rides'. Good on you.
Caleb had a jump and I got Zali on the jumpy castle ('on the house') to help her get herself back to happy. Not sure how long the girls' counter was for but their jumping time was over in a flash.
After a 'misplaced sock' incident we moved down to some shaded tables and chairs for some food (and some coffee!). The Husband helped make/pack some food for our outing and we bought a bit of fresh food too - can't go to a carnival and not have a dagwood dog.
As we sat and ate, Griffy could get out of the pram and play and have a snack of grass. There was a guy playing the guitar and singing - Zali was dancing a smidge, enjoying his smooth tunes. After a feed Caleb started showing us his moves too - such a talented family!
The fun part was having our sweets . . . Dippin' Dots (tiny balls of ice cream). Zali got a rainbow sorbet type, Caleb picked the bubblegum flavour (eww) and I picked the Snickers with a small mix of mint chocolate to share with Grandma. Lucky for me she only wanted a small bit - yummy!
Just as we finished enjoying those tiny balls of scrummy, a puppet show was starting a few metres away. We watched a little of the puppet-action and then decided to move as we were all getting tired. The last two (ride) tickets for Caleb and Zali were used on the chairlift swing thing - for some reason Zali picked the only chair that was facing backwards?
Heading out the Police gave the kids a stamp on their hand and some colouring-in stuff. We had a final stop at the motorised train setup while Grandma located a balloon each for the kids. Trudged to the car and headed home. Sleeps all round except for me (sigh).
It is my turn to sleep now. Night!

Nicholas Oliver Chandler Adam
My new nephew was born Thursday 28 May 2009 at 2.30pm in Toowoomba. He is 54cm long and weighed 7lb 15oz 3620gms. Sheree and David are very happy, healthy and loving their new little cuddler. This guy has two big brothers to copy, chase, learn from, squabble with and love.

D for . . .
D is for Distraction. That is what happens when I attempt to give Griff some food, it is hard enough to get some tucker down his gob but as soon as there is movement from anything . . . he is being a giraffe neck to check things out. Movement like: trees, the dogs, Grandma turns the kettle on, a big brother walking past, a big sister chatting away . . . . Anything.
Here is the little champ in his new high chair.
Here is the little champ in his new high chair.
Same height enables Griffy to show how he cares . . . awwwwww
This little girl didn't want a photo . . . she wanted a photo of her pony.
When she came downstairs after her bath holding her 'Runny Babbit' (her pink bunny), she came in to the kitchen to ask me some things. 'Yes, my little angel' I replied when she called my name. She chats away . . .
When she next exited the kitchen, she bent down to pick up Runny Babbit and said 'c'mon my little angel. ahhh my little angel' to the bunny. Twas very cute.

Little Piggies
This little piggie went to Ikea
This little piggie browsed around
This little piggie ate chicken and chips
This little piggie had a nap
And these cute little piggies scored themselves a new highchair.
Wanted the basic (easy to clean) highchair from Ikea. Caleb enjoyed a stay in the play centre and I could organise what I needed to buy and load it in the car and return to claim my prize/son within the allotted hour. Griffy loves sitting up high with everyone, especially sitting near his big brother and big sister - they thought it was pretty cool too! He enjoyed his first official seating at the family table very much.

Small chubby soft feet are delightful!

Sigh
A long day. Didn't want to go to bed last night. Didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Didn't want to get dressed. Didn't want to be late for playgroup (again). But I was. We were - those little disguised devils were driving me a *little* bonkers today.
Wanted a sleep, couldn't. Wanted to watch some TiVo, couldn't. Wanted the kids to understand how cranky I was, they didn't care. Wanted them to go to bed early, since they didn't sleep or rest all day, they didn't. By the time I got them fed and showered and teethies clean, talked to Daddy on the phone and then had stories, bedtime was basically normal time.
Cup of tea time again. Don't want to go to bed again. The quiet time is good.

Our New Puppy
This cute and cuddly puppy arrived today with Auntie Mel and Uncle Brent. It was a hit immediately. With Griff, it is cuddly and can be chewed (and likes to sleep with him!). With me, it doesn't require special food, water and shelter and it doesn't poo or eat the kids toys. Wahooo!
I am *so* excited about this! Guess what Mel and Brent got me for my birthday . . . hint: it is not yellow!
This totally cool and flash and sexy set of digital kitchen scales. I have *always* wanted one of these puppies! It goes up in 2gm increments . . . all the way to 10kg. That is right - 10 big ones! Wacko! I am wrapped and I may have, perhaps, a pretty good chance that I might have weighed pretty much everything in my entire kitchen except the fridge - but give me time! I am sooooo a Master Chef now. I have sharp knives and a rockin' digital scale, I am sure that is all I need . . .

Frenchie
I am not sure whether finding out our old favourite breakfast is back (old style) on the menu at the coffee shop at Carindale is a good thing or not. It is deee-vine and oh so good. However, it is probably a few more calories than a standard breakfast. Like I need more calories. Hmpf.
Mum shouted me breakfast this morning as a birthday breakfast. I think this has been a birthday week as the presents have drifted in over the week. I am very lucky and thankful for it all. And for my french toast, bacon, banana and maple syrup with whipped cream on the side.

i {heart} coffee
Caught up with my cousin Lynda and her baby boy Tom this morning. Was nice just sitting and chatting and eating a yummo piece of banana bread. I was too busy talking and didn't take out my camera to capture anything. Doh.
On Wednesday we visited Kerry, Riley and Chloe for a bit in the afternoon. Since then I have been happily sucking down the coffee - she gave me a very thoughtful 'mound' of coffee things! Mmmm. A whizzer thing to froth my milk, flavoured coffee, ground beans for my filter, chocolate sprinkles to decorate my coffee and some cool glass mugs, oh, and some yummo coffee bags that I got into at the hospital when Griffy came into the world. Years ago coffee didn't really ring my bell . . . these days it is definitely one of my favourite things. Teagan & Mummy-in-law like to get me coffee vouchers with my presents or care-packages . . . very noice.

Ribbon Twist
Me and Mr Blogger had a disagreement with the last post - it deleted this bit, or I did. Something that I wasn't impressed with anyway.
But . . .
My sweet friend Janene gave me a lovely present for my birthday - a Pandora charm to add to my new bracelet! Janene liked the little ribbon with pink gems, which is the breast cancer ribbon. A donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation is given with each purchase of this little cutie. It is the twisted ribbon at the top - my first 'dangler'.

If you hadn't guessed, I am going for pink and bling. Nice! Needing some more pink next, me thinks.
Lashings
What exactly do you call 'lashings of butter'?
After Caleb left for school this morning on the bus, Zali came trotting inside requesting something to eat. Sure, I said. I will change Griff and get you something to eat - back in a minute. On the kitchen bench the Husband had left out the butter, Vegemite and some crumpets for my breakfast (ew - as if i eat Vegemite crumpets, pass the peanut butter please!).
I realised my MasterChef had started to 'eat' when she joined me upstairs asking to have her hands wiped. She was a *smidge* bit covered in Vegemite (hands, shirt, jumper, mouth, eyebrow) and wanted to be clean.
Have you been eating the Vegemite, I asked.
Yes. And Butter.
Did you make a sandwich or just eat them?
I made a sandwich. (gulp!)
I would like to commend my MasterChef and her attempts at packing up. The lid is on the butter and the lid is somewhat on the Vegemite - knife ready for next person to use . . . am looking for the positives here (and no, we do not leave knives in our jars of any type of condiment, looking for some positives remember!).

Her sandwich is a uncooked crumpet. Her lashings of butter resemble an edible (perhaps?) Opera House of Crumpet Land. She had taken a bite . . . see? Strangely she did not like her concoction.
Thankfully we were heading out, we needed some distraction. A visit to Janene, Amy and Baby Matilda were on the cards. It was a lovely morning and always a pleasure spending time with them.
Baby Matilda awake and asleep.
My MasterChef Zali, Griffy and Amy - all had props: Amy had car keys and Lexter Dexter Cabbage Patch Doll (I hope I spelt that right Janene?). Zali had a baby (not pictured) and a blue handbag. There was a flurry of excitement with our models when Griff had the blue handbag and was 'tasting' it and Zali was not impressed, twas *her* prop.

Evac!
Crikey there has been a *bit* of rain around! Was able to finish my jobs early to enjoy the wet and cool weather as it should be enjoyed . . . in bed! Me and Griff snuggled under the blankets - how can a baby take up 2/3 of the bed? I am sure he will start stealing the blankets soon. After he went to sleep I picked up my new Julia Morris book . . . couldn't get through one page before I started nodding off. Great way to spend a morning - naps are the best!
I was woken after lunch by the home phone ringing, my mobile ringing and my mobile ringing again. As I stumbled downstairs to find out what was going on the home phone rang again. Turns out the creek at the back of Caleb's little school had jumped its banks and they were evacuating. The school was trying to call to inform me of the situation, the buses were all requested immediately to get the kids and so the bus driver was trying to let me know. After talking to the bus driver, the Husband called because the school had rang his work trying to get him (he was in a meeting as usual). My response to the calls . . . 'sorry, I was asleep'. Oops.
I had to laugh when Caleb came home on a different bus. He was happy and going with the flow, thankfully, and wanted this new bus back - he must have enjoyed it. As well as having his bestie Sophie on board, their other classmate Zac was on board too. Why the different bus (and this is why I laughed) . . . his bus got stuck in the water at school!

Have you had a Cookie Cake?
Remember I mentioned I baked? Here it is all plated up ready to head off to 'skills for school' playgroup at the CP League. L-R: Custard Craison biscuits, Raspberry and Macadamia Blondies & Caramel Struesel Slice. The went down a treat and there was a few joyous moans of 'yummmmm'. A few too many raspberries were tossed in with Caleb and Zed helping but I have improved with the other two dishes coming out better on this second baking adventure.
My birthday presents - I got the bracelet and most of the beads. If you squint you will see my three little babies at the top of the picture - two of them kicking their heels up - they were my Mothers Day presents.
Jewellery seemed to be the theme. Some from Sheree and family, the black flower set I found (they were from the kids?) plus a spare $20 slipped in from Sheree bought me a sweet little Cath Kidston journal - I love me a notebook!
I have wanted a cookie cake ever since Mrs Fields had them on display in a glass box on their counter. Never justifiable. If a girl can't get what she wants on her birthday, well . . .
The embarrassing part was the ordering. What is your name? Gail. (Enter other details here . . . ) then . . . Do you want writing on it? Yes. Happy Birthday (cough cough) Gail. I had a bit of a laugh and told her I had to order my own birthday cake. Pretty embarrassment!
The funnest shot is Caleb blowing out my candle. Not sure if he blew it or vacuum-sucked it! He loves birthday cakes and candles and these days he can blow just wind, thankfully, instead of spitting more than blowing it out. Noice!
A real treat for the day? A surprise delivery (I was told in the morning that it was coming) via courier from Toowoomba from my sweet sweet Mummy-in-law (and I reckon Teagan might have been involved!). She decided that having to cook dinner on my birthday wasn't right . . . in my delivery was a delicious chicken pie, cauliflower & cheese sauce (both these in pyrex style dishes ready for the oven), chunky beef and noodle soup AND . . . . a *trifle* (which she knows I love!) Adrian whipped up a nice pot of mashed potato as well. My goodness - how great is that? Extremely thoughtful. These two extremely *thoughtful* ladies have been so good to me recently - they rock! Mm-wah!
Mum gave me some of my Pandora beads but surprised me with my favourite chocolates. Rwoar! Would anyone like one?
Note: do you actually think there are any chocolates left?

2 words
to describe today. Tired. Burn.
Very tired. Very very. Have had late nights. Am awake throughout creeping around the house on our creaky floor boards for blanket adjustments for the kids so they don't become little icicles and then try and climb in to bed to snuggle with me to warm up. Perhaps a toilet trip for young lad wearing undies to bed, of course I would need one myself while I am up. Griffy has had rough nights with his teeth, which I think is looking up and he is a little more like himself. Generally early to get out of bed. This morning was awake around 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Some days it isn't possible to have a nap for a bit of catch up.
Burn. My eyes are burning from the tiredness. My back is burning from the heat pack I currently have on it. My back is burning from the pain I suffer after 'breaking' it during the week. Me? Drama Queen? To add to that I stood for most of today baking - great for a sore back.
I decided I had had enough of baking and cooking dinner and said I was tired and my back is very sore. Zali, the little dear, wanted to see my back when I said that, 'show me your back Mummy'. She held up my shirt and looked at my back for a while, 'it's ok Mummy, after your bath i will put a band aid on it, ok?'

Now is Saturday
Participating in the ScrapBoutique Cybercrop this weekend. First challenge was a speed scrap. It was based on a sketch provided and could only use blue and green. You only had one hour to make it, photograph and upload to their gallery. Phew! Here is mine: (a little two year old Caleb)
Shortly I will begin the 'Liz card challenge' and the 'Liz sketch challenge' and the 'Kate challenge'. Lots to do but this little black duck is pretty tired after a few hard nights. Will see how I go and perhaps share other pages.
What a beautiful Saturday! Not a cloud in the sky, lovely temperatures and no real wind to report. A beautiful day for a wedding . . . lucky for Sarah and Brad who were married today - big congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy marriage. My friend Kate (Sarah is her little sister) would have looked *stunning* in her bridesmaid dress. Very much looking forward to seeing the photos.
Enjoy the weekend!

Today is Friday
Quick run into Kmart to get a two pack of Dora the Explorer undies (on sale this week) for Zali as her toileting has been fantastic. Somehow a block (or two) of Cadbury chocolate (maybe Top Deck and Peppermint) was accidentally slipped into my bag. On closer inspection of my purchase at home, I realised this mistake and was *horrified*.

Humour and the Memory
If only I had the camera handy and it was appropriate to capture the moment. OK, lets be real, I would have done it if the camera was handy. I would have foregone the 'appropriate' part for the sake of humour and the memory.
This morning Zali fell off the swing.
I was rocking the swing and she happily sat in amusement, laughing at me tickling her little pink 'piggies' and blowing kisses and basically mucking around with her each time she swung forward. Griffy was sitting in the baby swing gnawing on the plastic harness in his own little world.
I had committed my arms to the 'push' movement as Zali lifted off the seat slightly . . . so when I pushed the swing I, really truly, did push the swing . . . right out from under her. (gee, I can't help but laugh as I write this) The swing kept swinging and she flew up and straight back down. Flat on her back she looked up at me with a look of shock. It all happened so fast, but the reality set in quick and she let out a few tears and cries . . . from the surprise of it all, she wasn't actually hurt. After a quick hug (and Griff looked sideways in her general direction then kept gnawing away) she was back on the swing for another push - see, all good!
It would have been hilarious to watch in slow-mo!
The other little incident involves Vegemite. Man, I am already sniggering.
Once upon a time there was a little girl sitting on the carpet watching the Wiggles. Her beautiful (imagine Snow White) Mummy had made her crispbread with cheese and Vegemite. Sitting next to the little girl was her precious baby brother, who was equally impressed with the movement and noise he was watching on the big 'box'. The birds were chirping outside and the sun was glittering down. A charming day in the world of make believe.
The beautifully stunning Mummy called out a warning to the little girl 'don't leave your biscuits near the baby, he cannot eat them' as she continued to tidy the kitchen.
Luckily the timing was spot on. As the baby boy toppled over from his sitting position on the carpet, his beautifully stunning Mummy re-entered the room to sit on her jewelled throne and sip Lipton tea from the delicate rose coloured china. As fast as Cathy Freeman she somersaulted through the air to the baby's aid as the little girl called 'he's got my biscuit!' You see, as the small man toppled over, he went in the same direction as the plate holding the last (open) Vegemite crispbread.
As the beautifully stunning Mummy saw her precious baby and the damage, she was viciously torn between right and wrong (oops, I mean 'memory keeping'). Should she remove the crispbread stuck to his eye like a patch or run for the camera? The dilemma was unimaginable.
She chose to take a quick mental picture - his perfect porcelain skin, one gorgeous blue eye, an unsure expression. The Vegemite was like glue sticking to his eyebrow and upper cheek to hold the crispbread like a diamond shaped patch on his right eye. Very cute and very funny.
The little girl lost her last biscuit but happily returned her focus to the Wiggles. The beautifully stunning Mummy removed the edible patch and, between giggles, removed the Vegemite from the baby's face. All was good once again.
Note: no child was hurt in the making of this Australian fairytale.

Milestone
A special 'big' birthday today. How sweet it is to have two little people singing Happy Birthday to Daddy at 6am - how could I not join in at the 'Hip hip . . . .' bit.
The fact that we got little sleep last night as Griffy's congestion made for a thoroughly disturbed night, plus the little Miss came in at 2am to snuggle (and was like a cold popsicle), didn't really matter as the new day had started with a song and lots of smiles.

Bits
Today has skipped along a little too fast. Out this morning to do a few jobs . . . over to Milton, quick stop at East Brisbane and then a drive-thru coffee while heading to Wynnum. Back home before lunch for some Wiggles watching and dancing. A nap. More Wiggles watching and dancing. Cooking dinner while Griffy danced around in the Jolly Jumper. We did our 'walk around the block' at 5pm and by the time we got home it was a smidge bit dark. Dinner and feeds. Baths. Cuddles. Stories. Cleaned kitchen. Back to Griffy who has runny nose and the congestion is upsetting his sleep. Internet playing. Back to Griffy who has runny nose . . .
Update blog. Last thing is wrapping some presents and writing in the card. Better get to that now before the little Griff is disturbed again.

nap
The kids didn't sleep today. They went to bed pretty quick tonight, asleep as soon as their stubborn little heads hit the pillow. I am tired as I couldn't have a nap. I *need* a nap!
Poor little Griff is still hurting. The two teeth are coming down further (very slowly) but he also has a bit of a cold with runny nose.
Found out today a friend is having her second baby in August. That is great news - congrats!
My friend Meagan, who I am sending out a cheerio to as her birthday slipped by at the end of April, looked absolutely gorgeous today in a navy dress. She doesn't normally 'do dresses' (snap to that!), but she looked very girly. Needed to mention it again, so she can feel the lurve.
Cuppa time.

Sweet
Happy Mothers Day! A very sweet day.
What is a Sunday without a wake up nudge/poke at 5am, without stumbling down the stairs in the dark, without a beautiful fresh morning at the markets. Whipped the jumper on pretty quick, it was a little bit cool, brrrr. Griff was snuggled in the pram under some blankets, not moving except to smile at people. I need to invest in a little beanie for him with the long ears. His top teeth have cut through - I can see them when I blow on his belly and he giggles.
Picked up some pretty flowers at the markets - the flower stalls were running hot with customers! I love the white ones.
Picked up some fresh bread on the way home - our normal bakery stall was not at the markets today (arrgh!) and the Husband made b.e.a.utiful bacon/egg/hash brown and cheese sandwiches. Yummo.
Very sweet and very meaningful was the three little people below. Little Pandora charms for my (not yet bought) new bracelet. Fitting for Mothers Day I get a symbol of my three babies . . . boy/girl/boy. Is it just me, or does the little girl look like she is laughing so hard she is nearly falling backwards? I am wearing them on this ribbon, makes me happy!
At the groceries yesterday, Griffy saw this pretty pearl necklace and insisted I buy it for myself - it was on sale and, well, he *insisted*.
Each year on Mothers Day I have photos taken of me and the kids. To get a winner of everyone looking and everyone smiling is increasingly difficult. Surprising, right? These two shots is when I decided to give up and commence some tickling and singing. Griffy was the only one sitting nicely for a while, but then his attention went to the dogs bouncing around and planes flying over, and of course the grass looked too good for him not to eat!

Standard
Pretty standard Saturday. New, however, is the tiny dot of white of a freshly broken through front top tooth in Griffy's mouth. Tomorrow there should be more and pretty soon after the friend next door will cut as well - it is very close. Hopefully they will move quickly and relieve the little man from pain.
Early to the markets for a pretty standard Sunday. Night.

A Lovely Week Ending
Crikey what a day. A lovely way to end the week, albeit a bit much sugar for this little black duck! A happy thoughtful easy day to share with you . . .
My cooking turned out ok. This is what I took into little school this morning. Custard craison biscuits and caramel struesli slice. Pretty yummy and very sweet. There were compliments which is always fantastic to hear. When the bus came this afternoon dropping Caleb off, I had two little bags of this food to give to the driver and the carer - they were very pleased and were eating a piece before they left our driveway!
Caleb was pretty stoked to have us visit. There were kids and Mummy's everywhere!
After Jackie and her guitar came to sing songs with us (she always comes for music time), it was present time! Each child got out their wrapped gift - they had painted the wrapping paper, made and decorated a 'stiletto' card and the inside gift was a beautifully made canvas! I love it. Caleb was very happy with his work and happy seeing his Mummy proud of him. A fantastic thing they do is take a photo of them doing the actual artwork and this time it is attached to the back of the canvas - great idea and makes it even more special!

Short
Cripes. The night turned a bit crazy as I tried to do the normal nightly duties and bake some biscuits and a slice. I haven't tried these before so I really had to read the instructions. Not sure if I should have tried!
A special mothers day morning tea at little school tomorrow and I wanted to bring something I made. I will keep my fingers crossed that a night in the fridge will help my slice and if I have time I will attempt the biscuits in the morning - Griffy decided to stay up until 9.50pm which made my cooking night a bit hard. He sat up there in the quiet darkness kicking around and chewing his feet and smiling at me. Supposedly he was tired and I was supposedly putting him to bed so I could continue cooking. Whatever! I can't be dragging out the mixer again at 10.20pm. I have just finished my dinner of Nutri Grain and am trying to clean up the kitchen a little.

Delicious
Imagine my surprise when I walked out to hang (the 5th load of) washing and I saw a wild animal in my backyard dismembering a defenceless harmless small monkey. I haven't much experience with capturing wild animals in their natural habitat but I was able to grab my camera to photograph the attack. It was scary.
My little girl was at kindy and my big boy was at little school. Between popping the panadol for my awful headache I basically spent the day washing. Sorting. Washing. Hanging. Un-hanging. Folding. Emptying the dishwasher. Put more in the dishwasher.
I did get to spend many many many minutes snuggling, feeding, playing, tickling and enjoying this little delicious package.

5
5 things on my mind on the 5th day of the 5th month.
it is late and i have not stopped and i have finally got all three kids to bed, cleaned up the kitchen and sat here with my cup of tea and little griff is calling out to me. long day.
weighing hugely on my mind is a damn headache that i haven't been able to shake all day and my darling little angels just give me a strange look if i ask them to be quiet cause my head hurts or my head is going to explode. the pain.
i have no idea what the husband wants for his upcoming birthday and he has no idea and isn't really concerned when i ask him to think about it. annoying.
i forgot to charge my Nintendo DS for my nightly session of Sudoku as I fall asleep. which doesn't really matter as my head hurts tooooo much to look at a screen - much like this one as I squint and suffer. and i do mean 'as I fall asleep' cause I fall asleep playing it and it keeps counting my time . . . so after a few nights when i eventually finish the puzzle it tells me i am slow for taking 47 minutes on a basic level. whatever.
i should have called the vet today to book in bubbles for a much needed haircut. buttons is giving me the shites barking at the new next door neighbours dogs every time they suck in some oxygen. grrrrr.

A Big Happy 3rd Birthday to Finn M.C.A.!
(Even if he says he is 5)
Finn had opened presents from the Adam side of the family on Saturday. This morning he opened presents from the Chandler side of the family. This afternoon when Finn & Co arrived safely home he opened presents from his Mummy, Daddy and brother.
If there is a person laying on the ground . . . it could only be for one reason (rest, sleep, relaxation of course isn't even considered) . . . to be jumped on! Watch out! Uncle David did have some backup when we heard (might have been my little angel) someone say 'I'm going to sit on his head!'
5 kids and a decent shot is a tough task. Least they were clean and dressed I suppose! When the new baby cousin is born we may be needing to upgrade our seating arrangements. Zali sat squashed on the end while Caleb sprawled out casually. Campbell and Finn were happy to hold Bubby Griff . . . but can you see the pleasure and joy and cheekiness in Griffy's face as he pokes Finn? Priceless. (And I can't help but snigger . . .)
